RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts teenager after single vehicle rollover

A teenager has been airlifted to hospital by the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter, following a single vehicle accident in the Gympie region, early this morning. (Mon 29th)

The Sunshine Coast-based rescue chopper was tasked to respond to the incident just after 6am.

Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) officers transported the teenager from the accident scene, to the helicopter, which landed at Archery Park.

Suffering head injuries, he was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition, under the care of the aeromedical team.
