Man airlifted by LifeFlight after stabbing

The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew airlifted a man who was stabbed to hospital last night.

The rescue chopper was tasked to the Toowoomba region at around 7pm after a man in his 20s was allegedly stabbed multiple times. 

The crew landed the helicopter in a paddock near the scene and were met by Queensland Police Service (QPS) officers and QAS Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics.

A LifeFlight critical care doctor QAS paramedics treated the patient for injuries to his torso.

He was airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
